Why do people love the darkness
Misery, gossip, toil and strife
Why do people get excited
When a man deserts his wife
These are times of growing turmoil
Nothing's like it used to be
Is there someone to cling on to

Yes there is, His name is Jesus
Lord of us and Lord of all
At His name the devils cower
Making sure their plans will fall
He is knocking at your door
Open up and let Him in
Giving Him your past and present
Future proof through thick and thin.
